I was very pleased to learn about the Centre and its work, which is badly needed today

The Centre for World Dialogue prides itself on the wide range of conferences it has hosted in Cyprus and elsewhere on topical issues of international concern. Past conferences have provided a uniquely stimulating environment for the exchange of ideas and the establishment of genuine dialogue.

See the links below for information about the variety of events we have organised:

•POLITICAL ISLAM AND THE WEST
•CHILDREN'S RIGHTS AND WRONGS
•JUDAISM, CHRISTIANITY, ISLAM: DIVINITY IN A POLITICAL WORLD
•IRAN IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY: CONTINUITY AND CHANGE
HUGG WEST ASIA WORKSHOP II
THE FUTURE OF IRAQ

The Centre for World Dialogue also arranges meetings and networking opportunities at the request of interested parties. These select encounters have been particularly successful in facilitating mutual understanding and in opening up opportunities for professional co-operation between individuals working in similar fields.

The Centre has organised a number of memorable events, some of which are linked here:

•FORMER US HOSTAGE BARRY ROSEN MEETS HIS IRANIAN CAPTOR, ABBAS ABDI
•THE RELIGIOUS IMPLICATIONS OF THE MIDDLE EAST PEACE PROCESS
•MIDDLE EAST MEDIA PROFESSIONALS
•DEVELOPING LINKS BETWEEN IRAN AND THE UNITED STATES

Audio and video tapes of our conference proceedings can be provided on request if available.
